Installation Instructions for NOMAD Wheels
Before Installation:
Clearance Check: Before mounting tires, ensure there is adequate clearance for brakes, hubs, fenders, and suspension.
Return Policy: Mounted wheels are non-returnable.
Mounting Tires:
- Use equipment designed specifically for alloy wheels to mount tires.
- Avoid tools that could scratch, scrape, or damage the wheel surface, as this will void the warranty.
Wheel Adapters and Spacers:
- The use of wheel adapters or spacers is not recommended. If installed, the purchaser assumes all responsibility and liability.
Balancing and Lug Nuts:
- Use self-adhesive tape weights for balancing. Avoid clip-on weights, as they can damage the wheel finish and void the warranty.
- Use the correct type of lug nuts. Always follow the torque specifications recommended by the vehicle manufacturer when tightening lug nuts.
- Re-torque the lug nuts after driving 75–100 miles.
Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensors (TPMS):
- If your vehicle is equipped with TPMS, reinstall the sensors into the new wheels. Some sensors may require activation after installation; refer to your vehicle’s owner’s manual for guidance.
Care & Maintenance of NOMAD Wheels
- Regular Cleaning: Clean your wheels weekly to preserve their "like-new" finish and luster.
- Temperature Caution: Avoid cleaning wheels while they are hot.
- Cleaning Products: Use water and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid products that could harm your vehicle’s paint, as they may also damage the wheel finish.
- Protective Coating: Apply a non-abrasive, carnauba-based auto wax after cleaning for added protection.
Thank you for choosing NOMAD Wheels. Proper installation and maintenance will ensure your wheels deliver outstanding performance and style for years to come. Drive safely and enjoy your adventures!
